Why would they?  I mean, if you have thousands of people[1] apply each
day, why go search for people?  The only people I would see that they
would want to go after specifically would be truly exceptional people,
and in those cases, I would think they would just use geek-to-geek
contacts, not true head-hunting per se.  See, for example, Kai-Fu Lee or
Vint Cerf or Andy Hertzfeld.
