If your bought and paid for W2K and WXP CD's don't work, you just need to
call MS and get a new key.

I recommend Ubuntu or Gentoo.  Fedora is molasses-like, even with non-ext3
root partitions.  It seems they just use compiler flags that are far too
conservative in terms of performance.
