Those programs do that physical property stuff, but they have other
pieces included
as well. I think the openit software will let you use a scanner to
import stuff like bar codes.

That might be a good option too, go to Office Depot and find some
software that will let you
use a scanner? I'm pretty sure they have stuff like that there.
