yep stove and water heater are NG.
Most of the charts i've seen say that starting at a 3-ton A/C unit, it requires
a 10kW generator. I could probably run the main A/C, but nothing else.
Also, for most generators that run Propane or NG the advertised kW number is
for propane and the NG is lower. In this case, mine will be 7000kW while running
on NG and 8000kW if running on Propane. So i'll be using even less
watts. I'm not
sure what the surge watts are, they don't seem to list that in their spec sheet.
It has something to do with amount of fuel pressure on the gas line
and all the other
things that are running. Apparently NG generators don't really measure start-up
watts like regular gas generators.

I'm not sure how big my A/C unit it, I think it's somewhere in the 4-5
ton category.
But, i've been looking at window units, i can cool a pretty big room
for around $200 bucks.
My mom has been talking about buying one of the smaller portable a/c
units, which is ok, but
you still need a spot to exhaust the heat.
I paid $1989 which will get the generator to my door. I've been
looking at it appears to be
a very good price.
