Thanks. I have not found this feature in MarkLogic 3.2 I supose it was in last version. I'll migrate soon.

In that case you are looking for the search:search-path element which you should add to your search-criteria. I was referring to an option of the new search:search function (described here: http://developer.marklogic.com/pubs/4.1/apidocs/SearchAPI.html#search:search). It is part of the new Search library, which became available with MarkLogic Server 4.1.. In both cases the result is more or less that the underlying cts:search call is given a searchable xpath expression, instead of defaulting to doc() or collection(). HTH!
