Hi Jakob,

I meant accessing MarkLogic Server through an HTTP App Server, addressing some 
mycustom.xqy which returns whatever you like (perhaps based on some request 
params) in zipped format using xdmp:zip (and related functions).

It is zip format though, not gzip..
