If there's just one server you can't connect to, then it sounds like something
with the config of that server. Are you using a MarkLogic admin user to
connect? If not then you need to make sure the directory that you are
connecting to has read permissions set on it for your user. And I assume you've
confirmed that the directory actually exists in the DB, and I assume you've
tried connecting to the server from a different box\OS. And we are talking
connection problems right? Not errors saving files through webdav? Cuz that
would probably be 500 errors, trigger errors, or permission problems.

Also, bitkinex is a good webdav client you might want to try.

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Problem connecting to WebDAV server in Windows
7

Hi, We use several WebDAV servers in digital collections with MarkLogic Server
for our library’s digital collections. I have not had a problem connecting to
them in the past using “Add a network location.” But now I have one particular
server that I cannot connect to in Windows. I’ve been using Windows 7 for about
a year and a half with no real problems before. We’ve tried to solve this issue
and our IT department has looked at it on their side, but we’re stumped. Any
thoughts? Thanks, Chris Christine SchwartzXML Database AdministratorPrinceton
