Hi Yashmeet

Make sure your content is properly 'tagged' for the correct languages. You can
do that by making sure there is a correct xml:lang attribute on the
language-specific parts of the content. If you don't provide it, MarkLogic adds
one on the root element itself, referring to the default language specified in
the database.

Once you have the languages correctly marked in the content, just add a
"lang=..." option to any cts query that work on language-specific content. If
you don't, it will limit to the parts in the default language of the database.

Kind regards,
Geert

Hi,

I am working on a project in which till now we were querying only on English
content. But now according to my new requirement I have to query on contents in
some other languages like German, Spanish etc. How can this be done in
marklogic?

Thanks
Yashmeet
