I have asked this questioned earlier also , which one is good, please suggest.
As per my understanding ML default conversion pipeline generates (XHTML, XML, _parts), but fails if document is corrupted or contains unreadable character or any other property like track changes enabled. **Note for DOCX , it generates only _parts which contains XML Similar way xdmp:document-filter also return XML for all type of doc and I have tested this it works in most of my case, except password protected file. We need to make a decision to upgrade our pipeline code in PROD, shall we go ahead and update it to xdmp:document-filter or you have any other suggestion. ~Gurbeer ________________________________ NOTICE: Morgan Stanley is not acting as a municipal advisor and the opinions or views contained herein are not intended to be, and do not constitute, advice within the meaning of Section 975 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
