Is there anything in your log /var/opt/MarkLogic/Logs/ErrorLog.txt? How about
in your syslog? Is there a MarkLogic process running (ps -ef | grep MarkLogic).

Subject: Re: [MarkLogic Dev General] Server Error "Invalid lexical value" after
fresh install of MarkLogic 8.0-2

Hi Yves,

If you are entitled for support, then reach out to support at marklogic.

Otherwise not entirely sure. The other ticket I found talked about a flaw in
one of the internal XML Schema, but I¹d be reluctant editing them myself. And
that ticket was hard to reproduce as well. Did you try deploying the same rpm
on a new/clean environment?

Cheers,
Geert
