Agreed, though I think it still makes sense to have two separate demos.
Perhaps the "wd" menu should be renamed, e.g.

Qt - examples of Qt controls, useful for the developer
Showcase - examples of using J

Some of the "wd" demos that are specifically related to controls or events
should be removed or moved to Qt.
