Hello Bill,
I copied the compressed download of J803_win32 from the Jsoftware web
site to a jump drive. The compressed folder is 2,158KB.
I then copied the J803_win32 to the local C: disk on the off line PC,
C:\J803_win32.
Then I issued an “extract all” statement, which resulted in a folder
J803 with 5.41 MB listed as follows:
add-ons 1.93 MB folder
system 239KB folder
jconsole 1KB
readme 1KB
bin 2.42 MB folder
tools 836 KB folder
jqt 1 KB
update jqt 1 KB
I then tried jqt.exe and the error message was “cannot find bin\jqt.exe”
and was told to click the Start button and do a search, which resulted
in a message that “ bin\jqt is not a valid folder.”
I also tried c:\J803_win32\J803\bin\jqt and received a message that it
was “not a valid folder--cannot find-- location unavailable” (This, even
though I could find jqt.exe in the bin folder.)
What I was expecting when I issued the extraction command was to have
J803 installed and have an icon placed on the main screen and have a
typical window (similar to but different from J602, but recognizable)
appear when I hit the J803 icon.
Does this help in clarification?
Thank you.

Hello,
I am attempting to install a compressed version of J803 which I
downloaded
to a (Windows 7, 32 bits) and copied to an on an off-line PC (Windows
NT).
I then opened the compressed files but have not been able finish the
installation. I saw an uninstall folder but no install folder. I
cannot
recall having had this problem with J602. I must be missing some
steps.
Thank you.
