I've also noticed an apparent timing error even when the PDF viewer is installed as indicated in the config file. In this case, running something like this should work (from your example): shell '"c/program files/ghost/gum/gsview/gsview64.exe" c:/user/bdt/j803-user/temp/plot.pdf'
