Dan,

[Coincidentally today I have been exploring the "newer" media. But my
meaning for "newer" is quite different from yours because I do not have a
mobile phone and do not text. So my version of exploring is learning to
send and receive texts with my grown kids.]

But, I am intrigued by your comments and wonder if you or others have ideas
about removing the "hedge" from J, especially jforums?

My minimal experience using twitter and reddit and colloquy and the like
have been disappointing because there is little continuity and searching
past communications is awkward relative to the jforums. So I guess I am
hoping you and others can suggest improvements or replacements to the
jforums.
