I have some notes from an attendee at a recent NYCJUG where he outlined
what he sees as the problems with our existing set-up for enticing people
to learn J. I have not yet written up all his points but a pertinent one I
remember off the top of my head is that there is a "success stories"
section where all the examples are years old.

I would be interested in any ideas Dan has for removing this hedge and am
hoping it is not just Twitter/Facebook/Reddit/Instagram.
