(unless you writea web application to handle those things directly ;-)
that was, in fact, the idea in the back of my head.
I did some digging. Python seems to be real good for building webapps, actually. The more I think about it, the more it seems to make sense. I am going to try and find time (where's all my free time going, lately? >:() to figure out what this thing should look like, and how it might actually work, too.
For now I just have a name:
