I've coding 'timeout' into Python Gump (allowing GumpEnvironment to detect it & register it, and allowing launcher.py:executeIntoResult to use it if found) as an optional dependency. [I've done this in the hope of helping Hermes, which (I assume) is still in an uncomfortable situation of having a rogue child.]
I see no evidence of a rogue child. What leads you to this conclusion?
Note: hermes was down for a number of hours yesterday due to an operator error.
