For reference, we have already advanced in the IP clearance process: Patrick is the main developer and the copyright owner and he already changed the headers. We were also very lucky that the single (optional) dependency was relicensed from LGPL to BSD and it was easy to update. I am sure this will be a very fun project for all of us involved!
