I agree with your observation that listing specific examples within the mission 
statement may not be ideal for this formal resolution text.

The paragraph is intended to describe the general scope of the project, and a 
high‑level description focusing on an accelerator for big‑data engines with 
native vectorized execution would be more appropriate for the board resolution.

We can revise the wording to remove the concrete product examples while 
preserving the core positioning of the project.

I wonder if examples belong in a mission?
Seems out of place to me.
