Hi Incubator PMC, I am canceling the vote for Apache Asyncband (Incubating) 0.7.0 RC1.
During the vote, valid issues were identified in the LICENSE file and the license headers and provenance of files containing third-party code. Fixing these issues changes the release candidate contents, so RC1 cannot proceed as an ASF release. The corresponding corrections have been merged in: https://github.com/apache/asyncband/pull/275 I'll make some follow-up the review whether or not we should add an ASF license header later. To unblock downstream projects that depend on the changes in the 0.7 line, we plan to publish 0.7.0 to crates.io as a non-ASF release. We will then prepare 0.7.1 as a new ASF release candidate and restart the PPMC and IPMC release votes. The RC1 artifacts will not be promoted to the ASF release distribution. The staged artifacts will remain in dist/dev temporarily and will be removed after the follow-up release work is complete.
