I share your concerns on the current status of things in Jakarta land (and
on the overall foundation), and I'm getting really tired lately of endless
discussions and flame wars that always end up nowhere...
Also, my current personal situation (have to move back to Europe in a short
while), is preventing me to accurately follow everything that's happening
around here, I already backed up from a TON of projects (Cocoon, Batik,
Log4J and others) to concentrate on what I have to do now, the
Catalina-Apache web connector...
So, I think I'll follow you, and step back from my direct involvement in the
overall Jakarta/ASF stuff, until I don't get some more time to dedicate to
it (that might mean around May/June when my relocation to London will be
finally over)...
