I'm interested in a project like (2) for Slide, for the reasons mentioned by
Bip and others. Of course, since it's for embedding it into another product,
I don't need all the functionality of a generic workflow engine.
However, I have doubts that that kind of project can be started with only
general ideas. I think such a proposal should be made with a prototype
codebase and / or detailed design ideas.
