"Success" is not solely measured in having code - basically it has to be
shown it will be supported etc. But thats definetly a start.

nope - I was offered hosting at a couple of places - not sure which way the
wind will blow though. Eventually if it proved successful and I wanted to
support it I was going to ask Apache but until then not sure.

It could be just one way of doing it. I wanted to have a generic interface
so that it could hook up with arbitrary underlying job engines (however my
boss vetoed that ;[ ).

Not sure on the product - never used it, unlikely too and thus never tried
to learn anything about it ;)
