hmmm, you'r right it's not an ActiveX control, my bad :-) i googled around and found this http://www.moztips.com/index.php?id=390 which basically means that your out of luck, it's an IE specific API. Although there are Mozilla API for the same features Hotmail/Yahoo don't support it. by the way, if you're a web developer check this out http://www.fckeditor.net/ it's an IDE that does this sort of thing on both IE and Mozilla, looks good!
