Thank you very much for your help etoom, I have downloaded the latest driver (install-8_30) from www.sysconnect.com and  created the  link as you suggested then recompiled and  it worked smoothely

I noticed during the installation that the installer compiles the kernel! is this normal when it comes to driver installation ? Forgive me if this seems stupid,
I'm a newbi you know :)
