I think I disagree. Most of the dictionary defines the basic words implemented in J. Let alone that this is the way to go about it. I don't think you are meant to understand that just from the parsing rules. The parsing rules -- the grammar -- gives you the basic patterns to understand the more involved concepts, but you still need to understand what the words mean to make sense of the resulting sentences. But perhaps you really meant to be asking something else and I'm just missing your point?
