Thanks for the quick and helpful responses.
I hope someone in Jsoftware will add appropriate simple comments to the J601
Install file. The two Mac users I was able to contact readily knew nothing
at all about the Terminal window nor how to use it. Oleg's solution looks
great.
If the dilemmas which Joey mentions can be resolved an automatic install
would be more in tune with their approach and understanding.
