Followed installation instructions running on XP SP2 with latest updates
1. Updated to j601c_win.exe into default directory c:\j601
2. Downloaded package manager  library_6.01.009_win.zip
3. Copied into with overwrite into c:\j601
4. Added wget and unzip to systems32 directory
5. Ran j.exe but no option visible in Edit|Configure|External Programs
for adding unzip
6. No menu item in Run menu for Package Manager

Uninstalled and repeated the whole of the above process and still no menu link.
