I may generate lots of objections, but one could use some chemistry words 
as in molecule which is a collection of atoms but the usual convention is 
to then call monatomic or monoatomic (single-atom) molecule conversely one 
could then use multiatomic for a molecule composed of two or more atoms.

>From the above one could derive a similar approach and call a monatomic or 
monoatomic noun and a multiatomic noun. It still is a composed expression 
to call it multiatomic noun but at least you get rid of the dreadful 
"non"...
