BTW, I appreciated your reply the other day about the utility of the
"logical approach" to J in contrast to my suggested "total immersion"
approach.  I'm still learning the language after far too many years to
write down, and so I am interested in hearing what's working for others.
I suspect both approaches are useful, and I suspect that different
people have somewhat different affinities for those different
approaches.
