We all know about J's right to left evaluation of math. In forcing myself back
through "Learning J", it occurred to me that an equation of one variable in math
typically uses x for that variable. sometimes t, sometimes s, but most often x.

But J uses y:

NB. calculate the slope
myfunc : 3 : 0
m*y + b
)

f(x) = mx + b would be the normal conventional math way.

Just nitpicking as usual :)

And is NB. latin for something? What does NB. mean?
