There's now a script on J Wiki of an earlier prototype
Color Adjust which does color curve transformation,
as used in popular image applications and monitor
correction, with brightness, contrast, gamma parameters.

The operation is linear-exponential (? better name)
transform of the original image input:

  f(x) = B + C*x^(1/G)

as a curve, shown over input histogram.

If it is useful, it could be extended to provide
better file load/save, zoom and pan, etc.
