I was surprised to find that i: produces more than
integers. For example the DoJ gives the following.

   i: _2.5j4
2.5 1.25 0 _1.25 _2.5

Some other examples and errors follow.

   i: 2 3
_2 _1 0 1 2 0 0
_3 _2 _1 0 1 2 3
   i: _2.5j4 _3.5j4
2.5 1.25 0 _1.25 _2.5
3.5 1.75 0 _1.75 _3.5
   i. _2.5j4

+ Both i. and i: produce subsets of the integers. "Wholes" is not standard.
+ If you wanted to rename them, i. gives (a subset of the) natural numbers.
+ As far as I know, there is no standard terminology for the symmetric
+ intervals that i: produces.
