Ok, I think I now understand:

You are talking about the hypothetical replacement trident
processing, and not about the hypothetical replacement of bident
processing.

In retrospect, this should have been obvious.

And, I think I agree: while we could have fork without trident support,
trident support for fork seems just too nice to go without.
