I think I will change the approach so that the data will be stored in
several mapped files < 2GB, and the complete array will be rebuild in
J memory. There should be no limits.

2GB. Microsoft actually provided a downloadable tool which will
reduce the size of your mailbox to <2GB.
In retrospect, some applications like MS-SQL Server can access files

Is there a size limit of mapped files? On XP64 and J64-602 the file
mapping does not succeed over 2 GB files. There is 6 GB physical ram.
