I vaguely remember Bill Lam advising me on how to go about getting imbedded images from excel files through Tara but I can't find that email anymore. Our current production system actually use Tara (server side) to retrieve information from excel files and uploaded to MS-SQL as a base feature. Currently, images from the excel file are manually copied by the user in the client side. As a new feature for the next version, I was thinking of automating this too. I know that this can be done through the Microsoft Office .NET programming interface but I'm trying to cut down cost (both on licensing and development) by using J & Tara on the application server.
