[Jgeneral] No help files in J602?

I installed J602 (32 bit, single user version) without complaint on my PC
running Windows XP. The interpreter is functioning as expected, but nothing
appears when I try to get help from the Help menu, e.g. Help -> Vocabulary
does nothing (except that the window loses focus). Has anyone seen this
before? Appreciate any suggestions.
