Created a new file "small.j" (stand-alone module)
#!/usr/bin/jc
NB. -- Call the JConsole, put out some lines, then leave...
echo 'this is file ''small.j''...'

exit ''
which runs fine. Thanks for the hint; that's been
something I have been looking for.

As for the Java versions, I found this:
