If you really wanna have some fun, try GNUCash's CVS version. They've finally 
implemented scheduled transactions, with a mortgage loan "druid" (doesn't 
quite work, though -- SX's are fine, just the mortgage thingy needs a little 
work...) and there's a new business module that's dying for someone to test.

I've got a COL RPM for it that I can make available, if you're interested in 
chasing down dependancies :-)
