Spam is bad, but as long as it works and some body is making money out of it prolly can't do much about it. But--nailing some outfit that found a hole in M$ Outcrap and sends dropdown menus seems to be a MicroSoft problem. When you rent something or buy something the seller or person who rents to you is supposed to make it good. Rent a house, the plumbing goes bad, landlord fixes it. The people using the toilet aren't, usually, fined. If the Gates bunch can't guarantee their product why should some one who can take advantage of the error be subject to a horrific fine?

Am I just out of step or does money talk and I don't have enough to be heard?
Bob
