Its mildly amusing how many people say that now that weren't saying that
months or years ago. Brings new meaning to the term 'monday morning
quarterback'.

He's got nothing to whine about, because he it fully convinced that he's
doing the right thing, and never changes course ('gotta stay the course' &
'we don't cut & run' etc) even when the results would suggest otherwise.

Actually, I seem to remember him saying something like "heck of a job
Brownie!".

We hope that it won't happen again. I'm no where near as optimistic as
you are.

There's a word for this. Oh yea, Denial.

WHat would you call secret prisons and suspension of habeas corpus?

Unless you're privy to information I'm not, we've got more than 2 years
left of the current president. Nothing is going to be improved in that
respect by next week. I'm glad that you can sleep better at night
convincing yourself that things aren't as bad as they were or are
elsewhere.

And before someone starts harping on what Clinton did or didn't do right,
don't waste your time. Regardless of whether Clinton did something wrong
or screwed something up in your eyes, it still doesn't justify what Bush
is doing.
