Following the recent retirement of Hivemind over at Apache we [Raffael, Jochen and myself] have decided to pick up and continue the development of the framework under the OPS4J umbrella. For those who might not know, Hivemind is an IoC container, providing service initialization and configuration. It is a light-weight container, not dissimilar other IoC frameworks such as Tapestry IoC (which is based on Hivemind), Guice and Spring. See http://hivemind.apache.org for more information. The original code is close to being moved into the OPS4J SVN laboratory and if all things proceed as planned, we should be able to provide the first OPS4J released version shortly. However, there is one thing which we'd like to have some help with before we proceed any further and that is a new name - so if you have any suggestions, please let the us know and we'll create a short-list for a final vote!
