I have been to the Gili Islands, which however is on the other side of

If you want to connect a bit to being something sweet, there are
plenty of fruits; Longan, Rambutan, Mangosteen, Lychee or just Mudah
(fruit IIRC). A smelly well-known fruit (but still sweet) is Durian.

A fairly unique island animal is the "Kancil", which is the local name
for "Mouse Deer" (but need to warn that a car model carries the name).
