Equivalent of org.eclipse.equinox.http.servlet.HttpServiceServlet to allow
pax-web to be integrated into a servlet container
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: PAXWEB-137
                 URL: http://issues.ops4j.org/browse/PAXWEB-137
             Project: Pax Web
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: WebContainer
    Affects Versions: 0.6.0
            Reporter: Paul Warren
            Assignee: Alin Dreghiciu

I am looking for an equivalent of
org.eclipse.equinox.http.servlet.HttpServiceServlet to allow pax-web to be
integrated into a servlet container.

I appreciate that this is contrary to pax web osgi-ify but at the moment our
users are uncomfortable moving away from their app servers to a true
server-side osgi solution therefore the best we can do is to leverage an
approach like equinox's servletbridge approach.

But as you will be very well aware equinox doesnt provide filters or listeners
etc. So I'd like to use pax-web (subject to legal agreement) but I dont see an
immediately obvuos way to bridge the servlet container (webapp in the app
server) to your WebContainer;

i.e. is there an org.eclipse.equinox.http.servlet.HttpServiceServlet?

Many thanks
_Paul
