Hey Harald, All of the samples base on the HTTP service only which does not require an web.xml at all. Instead of the centralized web.xml pax-wicket allows to conifgure filters and other settings in the web.xml in a more OSGi like way. Currently there are no more advanced samples available but in short: for a feature simply register a classical servlet Filter with the right application name. Both, the application as "plain" filters also take filter/servlet props as osgi properties.
Kind regards, Andreas On Tue, Aug 16, 2011 at 13:59, Harald Wellmann <[email protected]>wrote: > I noticed the Pax Wicket samples - or at least the one in > samples/plain/simple - work without a web.xml deployment descriptor, > although based on Servlet 2.5. > > Is that a general OSGi Web feature or some special magic in Pax Web and/or > Pax Wicket? > > Best regards, > Harald > > -- > Empfehlen Sie GMX DSL Ihren Freunden und Bekannten und wir > belohnen Sie mit bis zu 50,- Euro! https://freundschaftswerbung.gmx.de > > _______________________________________________ > general mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.ops4j.org/mailman/listinfo/general >
