Presumably the engineers actually talk to each other? (If they do, why
not on the public lists?)
If this is supposed to be an open-source project hosted by the Linux
Foundation I would expect a little more transparency in the development
process.
While observing a little of the development with Meego and Tizen I have
nearly lost all respect for the toothless Linux Foundation.
I wish Intel and Samsung good luck with Tizen, but I do sometimes wonder
why they have bothered with open source at all because their heart
obviously isn't in it (at least with this project).
Quite amusing really that the original poster (Arjan van de Ven) is an
Intel engineer, but even he can't get access to the closed Tizen team.

Just FYI, the community manager doesn't make product decisions, like which
components to include in Tizen (see the original question) :)
Also, while I can ask the engineers to participate on the mailing list for these
discussions (and I do ask every single day), I can't force them to reply to the
lists.
