hi guys,
since you are looking for Tizen Telephony docs ,hope the tizen porting
guide can help you, here is the address
https://source.tizen.org/sites/default/files/tizen_porting_guide_2.0_alpha.pdf
there are some telephony related chapters.
to provide customized the Telephony components, the
developer should implement appropriate plugins. All required modem
service can be
implemented in either a single plugin or a combination of plugins. It is
up to the vendor
developer. However, to help implementation, tizen provide template plugins.
I did some work on writing plugins , and found it was very difficult to
realize a modem plugins ,
the template plugins(tel-plugin-atmodem package) was far from
enough.there was nothing about ppp,and
the AT commands part was not completed too.
does anyone know some thing about this part? I hope we can communicate
more...
thanks & regards
kyle
Hi Rohit,
I was looking for Tizen Telephony docs as well, but no luck; the only pointers
I found are the Overview of Tizen Telephony[1] speech Samsung presented at
Tizen conference, and the published source code. So, my understanding is -
libslp-tapi is not part of the communicator plugin, I'd say it's a TAPI
library, which run in calling apps' contexts and communicate to Tizen telephony
dbus communicator at the other end of the dbus.
You could reference the "telephony-daemon" package, the daemon will be launched
during the system booting up, and it will create the server and load/initialize plugins
under /usr/lib/telephony/plugins folder. While initializing the dbus communicator plugin
(i.e. tel-plugin-dbus_tapi), it will register callbacks to the dbus, then waiting
requests from libslp_tapi. FYI.
