ofono is good ,i already make servel 3G modems work in ofono few month ago.when it comes to telephony ,I'm still struggling . I say some my understandings, maybe there are some points not right, welcome you pointed it out.after read some HAL plugins source package ,i think that the modem driver may not be part of telephony. according to the porting guide ,telephony framework with HAL plugin to communicator hardware, and in the HAL plugin,there are functions just read and write the serial ports. where these serial ports come from ? i think it is vendor developer's work ,they can write drivers in kernel or use other method to create the serial ports. the question ,How a call from simple dialer app to modem in tizen telephony,till now i know that it is modem plugin ,that receive data from modem side through HAL plugin,I have realized it here,now i can recieve data in modem plugin. as AT modem plugin code is not complete,I can't very good analysis the recieved data, even if this resolute, the PPP operation is still a lot of work to do. it is modem plugins,that communicator plugin communicate with.the modem plugins provide Operation functions to serve communicator request. thanks & regards kyle On 2012年12月07日 15:12, Rohit Pathania wrote: > Hi Kyle, > > Yup we can discuss more about it.
