you would still need the "desktop ui" as i said. geeks need/want that for
productivity reasons. until someone wants to make "products for the average joe"
- we need to serve ourselves. in the process we happen to work on nuts and
bolts for a "pc" profile if it ever happens.

take this discussion to those companies then. :) i doubt they (or the right
people in them for this) are listening on this mailing list. :)

here we have people working mostly on tizen as a platform, and at least what i
see is a need to strengthen the core platform to make it easier to develop on
and for. make it more relevant to geeks who are the people who will work on the
platform itself to "scratch an itch" and/or make apps for its ecosystem which is
what we need to build. discussing full blown "products for the average joe" i
think is far beyond what this forum can and should do.
