I have moved to a computer with more horsepower, and I'm going to do a couple of
things recommended to me.
First, I'll give mysql more memory (ram) for indexes, and secondly I'll give the
optimize.sh another whirl.
Thanks for all feedback so far. I've got several mails in addition to the responses
here.
As of today, I've partially indexed about 70 relevant websites, and I've got 180.000
urls in the database. My guess is that the total amount of websites to index will be
somewhere between two and three thousand.
I understand now that I will be needing alot of horsepower as well as the knowledge of
how to optimize my database.
Why doesn't mnoGoSearch implement an optimizer btw? Perhaps that is too database
specific?
